Born on February 26, 1936, in Dixon, Illinois, John lived a life marked by hard work, love, and a deep appreciation for the great outdoors.John’s robust career spanned over three decades at Kelly Springfield Tire, where he worked diligently from 1965 until his retirement in 1996. As a proud union member, he understood the value of solidarity in the workplace. During his retirement, he worked at Apple Canyon Lake Recycling Center in his free time.An honorable United States Army veteran, John served his country with pride. His commitment to duty and service remained a valued part of his identity throughout his life.Outside of work, John was an enthusiastic lover of the outdoors.
