With hearts full of loving memories, we announce the peaceful passing of Eileen Marie Kuehl, age 91, of Freeport, Illinois, on March 11, 2025.She was born on April 5, 1933, to Edward and Indamore Tangney in Chicago, IL. She graduated from Amundsen High School in Chicago and went on to St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing in Freeport. In December 1954, Eileen and Ronald Kuehl began a 33-year marriage, during which they raised four children.Eileen's life was a testament to her unwavering devotion to her beloved family, career, and faith. Her dedication to helping others led to her nursing career at St. Clare Hospital in Monroe, a journey made possible by the support of her husband, who lovingly nurtured their home. In her well-deserved retirement, Eileen found joy and created treasured memories at Tuck-a-way Campground, surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and dear friends.
