Beth Y. Barton, 69, of Freeport, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, March 11, 2025. She was born April 16, 1955, in Twin Falls, Idaho to Alwin and Helen Reimnitz. She was married to her husband of 47 years, David Barton, in Bismarck, North Dakota on August 5, 1977.Beth taught Language Arts at Immanuel Lutheran School for over 20 years, was a long-time active member of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League, supported Lifeline Coalition (formerly Freeport Pregnancy Center) and serving for many years on their Board of Directors. She was an active member at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Freeport. Her involvement included Sunday School, Bible Study, Choir, and she also most recently served as Church Secretary. She previously served as an interpreter for the deaf, interpreting worship services at Our Redeemer Lutheran and St. John's Lutheran in Lena, as the opportunity arose.Preceding her in death were her parents, Alwin and Helen Reimnitz, her Mother and Fathe
